Sydney Sweeney Prepares for Emotional Wrap of ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

Los Angeles, CA – Sydney Sweeney is getting ready for an emotional farewell as she closes in on the final days of filming for ”Euphoria” Season 3. The actress, known for her role as Cassie Howard, shared her feelings during the 2025 Power of Women ceremony, where she was honored as one of the cover stars.

During the event, Sweeney revealed that her last two days of shooting are scheduled for Thursday and Sunday. “It’s gonna be a really bittersweet moment,” she told Variety‘s Angelique Jackson. “I’m kind of terrified for how emotional it’s gonna be. It’s been such a journey. It’s been my entire twenties. They’ve been my family and friends for so long. I’ve been forever grateful for all of them.”

Currently 28 years old, Sweeney pointed out that she started her journey with the show when she was just 20. “I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people, it feels very comforting,” she expressed.

While specific details about Season 3 remain under wraps, it is set to premiere in spring 2026. Fans can expect many familiar faces to return, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, and Colman Domingo, along with newcomers like Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Trisha Paytas, Eli Roth, and Rebecca Pidgeon.

Elordi, who plays a significant role in the series, praised the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, stating that he has “constructed something that’s incredibly clever and cinematic.” He shared that the experience was liberating as it allowed him to explore something different from his earlier work.

Beyond her work on ”Euphoria,” Sweeney is looking ahead to various projects. She stars in an upcoming boxing biopic titled ”Christy,” based on the life of champion Christy Martin. Sweeney attended the Power of Women event with Martin accompanying her. Additionally, she is involved in a remake of the classic sci-fi film ”Barbarella” for Sony, and she expressed interest in consulting the original film’s star, Jane Fonda, for insights.
