KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Pop star Taylor Swift is set to be the sole guest on a special full-episode segment of Late Night with Seth Meyers on Oct. 8, just five days after the release of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. The 35-year-old singer-songwriter will discuss her new record and her creative process during the appearance.

The announcement was made by Meyers on September 29 through a fun promotional video. In it, he sported an orange cardigan from Swift’s merchandise collection and revealed the date of the episode while referencing her song lyrics in a light-hearted manner.

This will be Swift’s first full episode on Late Night since her last visit in 2021. Fans can expect a captivating conversation filled with playful surprises as she shares insights about her journey and music.

Swift’s promotional activities for her album, which drops at midnight on Oct. 3, will include an exclusive pink-shimmer vinyl available at Target titled The Crowd Is Your King. Additionally, theaters across the country will screen The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and the premiere of the music video for her song “The Fate of Ophelia.”

On the same day as her album launch, Swift will also appear on The Graham Norton Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 6. Her whirlwind promotional tour leading up to the Late Night episode showcases her dynamic return to music and entertainment. Swift continues to captivate audiences with her relentless drive and creativity.
