Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen Anniversary Celebration

LOS ANGELES, CA – Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen are still going strong after 30 years of marriage. The couple, who wed in 1995 after meeting on the set of the film Pontiac Moon, have maintained their romantic bond over the decades.

Danson, 77, expressed his love for Steenburgen, 72, during a November 18 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He shared their on-screen collaboration in the second season of his Netflix comedy, A Man on the Inside, where Steenburgen plays his character Charles’ new love interest. “The other thing is, second chances. Do you get to fall in love again? I get to play that out with my wife, Mary,” Danson said.

The actor has often spoken fondly of Steenburgen, describing her as a “remarkable human being” in past interviews. In a 2017 exclusive with Us Weekly, he stated, “I’m madly in love with Mary Steenburgen. If I could be a woman, I’d be her.” Danson added, “With Mary, I hate love scenes with other people… But with Mary, there’s no guilt.”

Steenburgen also cherishes their marriage. She marked their 30th anniversary on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt post along with a bracelet he gifted her. “Happy 30th Anniversary @teddanson! You are the goofiest, wisest, kindest, dreamboat in the world,” she wrote.

The couple’s shared career includes past appearances on projects like Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Good Place. They have blended their families, both bringing children from previous marriages into their life together. Danson and Steenburgen continue to enjoy their close bond, sharing early morning routines and laughter.

As their latest project, A Man on the Inside, premieres its second season on November 20, Danson and Steenburgen prove their love and partnership continue to thrive both on and off screen.
