Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen Celebrate 30 Years Together

He shared their on-screen collaboration in the second season of his Netflix comedy, A Man on the Inside, where Steenburgen plays his character Charles’ new love interest. “The other thing is, second chances. Do you get to fall in love again? I get to play that out with my wife, Mary,” Danson said.

The actor has often spoken fondly of Steenburgen, describing her as a “remarkable human being” in past interviews. In a 2017 exclusive with Us Weekly, he stated, “I’m madly in love with Mary Steenburgen. If I could be a woman, I’d be her.” Danson added, “With Mary, I hate love scenes with other people… But with Mary, there’s no guilt.”

Steenburgen also cherishes their marriage. She marked their 30th anniversary on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt post along with a bracelet he gifted her. “Happy 30th Anniversary @teddanson! You are the goofiest, wisest, kindest, dreamboat in the world,” she wrote.
