Theresa Randle Arrested for Felony Assault in Los Angeles

Actress Theresa Randle was arrested earlier this week in Los Angeles on charges of felony assault, according to law enforcement sources. The incident is reported to have occurred on October 5, when police were initially called to an L.A.-area home in response to an alleged assault. By the time officers arrived, Randle had already left the scene.

Two days later, on October 7, a second call was made to authorities reporting a potential domestic issue and a possible restraining order violation at the same location. Upon their arrival, police found Randle at the scene and arrested her for the assault related to the earlier incident, as confirmed by TMZ.

A source close to the police informed that Randle, best known for her roles in films such as “Beverly Hills Cop III,” “Space Jam,” and the “Bad Boys” franchise, was not cooperative during the booking process. Following her arrest, Randle made a court appearance on October 9, but the District Attorney’s office decided to reject the case.

Recently, Randle’s character in the “Bad Boys” series, Theresa Burnett, was replaced by Tasha Smith for the upcoming “Bad Boys 4.” This change was noted last year as reported by Variety. Randle had been a part of the series, playing opposite Martin Lawrence‘s character Marcus Burnett and interacting with Will Smith‘s character Mike Lowrey.

Her last film appearance was in the 2020 installment “Bad Boys for Life.” Following her replacement in the series, there have been discussions regarding her welfare, especially after a video surfaced showing her appearing frail while allegedly helping the Skid Row community in Los Angeles.

Roger Neal, Randle’s former manager and publicist, confirmed her identity in the footage, expressing concerns about her well-being. There is no current contact information available for Randle through Neal, as he represented her around a decade ago. A witness to the video clarified that Randle was using a walker due to a broken femur, contradicting speculation about homelessness, stating instead that she was assisting those in the community.
