Tigaon Assembly Election 2024

In the latest developments from the 2024 Haryana Assembly Elections, Rajesh Nagar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious in the Tigaon constituency. Nagar secured a total of 94,229 votes, decisively defeating his closest competitor, Independent candidate Lalit Nagar, who garnered 56,828 votes.

The election in the Tigaon constituency saw a competitive lineup of candidates, including prominent figures from different political parties. Among those who contested were Abhash Chandela from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rohit Nagar representing the Indian National Congress (INC), and Lal Chand Sharma from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). However, all of them faced defeat in this election.

During the counting process, Rajesh Nagar consistently maintained the lead over his opponents, with early trends already indicating a strong performance. By 09:45, Rajesh had established a lead of 4,825 votes over Lalit Nagar, signaling his strong foothold in the constituency.

This victory marks a consecutive win for Rajesh Nagar, who had previously won the Tigaon seat in the 2019 Assembly elections, further solidifying BJP’s presence in this region. In contrast, the constituency witnessed a slight decrease in voter turnout compared to the last election, standing at 54.34% this year, down from 55.79% in 2019.

These results reflect ongoing support for the BJP in Tigaon, a crucial seat in Haryana’s political landscape. The election outcome is part of the larger Haryana assembly election results being covered comprehensively by major news outlets and political analysts to assess the performance of various parties in the state.

The Tigaon constituency, therefore, remains a noteworthy region where BJP has demonstrated its continued influence, as noted by Rajesh Nagar’s consistent lead and subsequent victory over his rivals from across the political spectrum.
