Trisha Paytas Joins Broadway’s Beetlejuice for Limited Run

NEW YORK, NY — Social media influencer Trisha Paytas will debut on Broadway as Maxine Dean in the musical Beetlejuice from November 4 to November 23. The popular show is currently running at the Palace Theatre and began its latest engagement on October 8.
Paytas takes over a part of the role from Sharone Sayegh, who will continue to portray Juno during the three-week run. After Paytas’s engagement, Sayegh will return to the dual role of Maxine Dean and Juno on November 25.
Maxine Dean is depicted as the wife of Maxie Dean, the chairman of Botco Industries, who visits the Deetz family for dinner. Paytas is well-known for her engaging and often controversial online content, which has amassed over 20 million followers across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
The cult-favorite musical, adapted from Tim Burton‘s 1988 film, explores the misadventures of a ghost teaming up with a newly deceased couple and a goth teenager to create chaos in their suburban home. The current Broadway engagement features Justin Collette as Beetlejuice, Isabella Esler as Lydia, and many others.
Beetlejuice initially premiered on Broadway in 2019 and has returned after a successful national tour. The latest run is set to conclude on January 3, 2026.
Paytas previously appeared in various TV shows and was part of a one-night concert fundraiser titled ‘Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream’ in 2025. Her versatility as a creator spans multiple genres, including vlogs, podcasts, and performances.
