Trump Easter Message Truth Social 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former President Donald Trump used Easter Sunday to launch a tirade against his successor, President Joe Biden, and criticize policies he claims threaten national security. Speaking from his Truth Social platform, Trump, 78, targeted what he described as a group of ‘Radical Left Lunatics’ intent on undermining his immigration policies.

In his post, Trump expressed disdain for individuals he accused of attempting to reintroduce dangerous criminals into the country. ‘Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country,’ he wrote.

The former president ramped up his rhetoric when addressing Biden, whom he labeled a ‘highly destructive Moron.’ Trump alleged that Biden’s ‘Open Borders Policy’ has led to widespread criminal entry into the United States, which he characterized as an unprecedented disaster. ‘Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked,’ Trump stated. ‘This policy will go down in history as the single most calamitous act ever perpetrated upon America.’

His post further reflected on his frustrations regarding the 2020 presidential election, suggesting that cheating was involved in Biden’s victory. He expressed a lack of respect for those he holds responsible: ‘But to him, and to the person that ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President!), and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!’

Trump’s comments came amid ongoing tensions regarding immigration policies and the Biden administration’s approach. Recently, protests against Trump’s policies have occurred nationwide, with demonstrators rallying near the White House in April 2025.

The Easter message aligns with his strategy of maintaining a vocal presence in political discussions, particularly as he remains a significant figure in the Republican party and hints at a potential bid for the presidency in 2024.
