UConn Kicks Off 2024-25 Basketball Season with First Night Festivities
The University of Connecticut (UConn) officially ushered in the 2024-25 basketball season with its annual First Night event at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut. The fanfare, which took place on Friday, October 18, 2024, served as both a celebration of past achievements and a spirited launch for the upcoming season.
During the evening’s festivities, members of the 2023-24 UConn men’s basketball team were presented with their championship rings, a momentous occasion that marked their success in the previous season. The ceremony was a highlight of the event, drawing applause and cheers from the crowd.
