University Of Missouri Student Riley Strain Missing In Downtown Nashville

The Metro Nashville Police Department is actively searching for 22-year-old University of Missouri student, Riley Strain, who went missing during a visit to downtown Nashville over the weekend. Strain, described as 6’5″ tall with a thin build, blue eyes, and light brown hair, was last seen by friends at Luke’s 32 BRIDGE, a popular Broadway bar owned by country singer Luke Bryan.

Strain, who was in Nashville to attend a private event, was out with a group of his fraternity brothers from Delta Chi when he reportedly got kicked out of the bar around 10 p.m. His friends lost sight of him, despite attempts to locate him via Snapchat location services which proved unsuccessful. Phone calls to Strain went straight to voicemail, and he was not found at the nearby hotel where they were staying.

Friends of Strain have been actively involved in the search efforts, with his parents traveling from Springfield, Missouri to assist. Despite extensive searches by both local authorities and volunteers, including air and ground searches along the Cumberland River, there have been no significant leads in locating the missing student.

The TC Restaurant Group, the operator and owner of Luke’s 32 BRIDGE, has been cooperating with the Metro Nashville Police Department, providing security footage and any other potentially relevant information to aid in the search for Strain. The community’s thoughts are with Strain’s family and loved ones during this difficult time as the search for the young man continues.

The University of Missouri has also been in communication with local law enforcement and Strain’s family, ensuring support and resources are available. Angela King Taylor, interim vice chancellor for Student Affairs, expressed the university’s commitment to the safety of its community and offered assistance to Strain’s family. Anyone with information on Riley Strain’s whereabouts is urged to contact Metro Nashville Police at 615-862-8600 or the MU Police Department at 573-882-7201.

As the search for Riley Strain enters its fourth day, the local community remains hopeful for his safe return, with authorities and volunteers continuing their efforts to locate the missing University of Missouri student in Nashville.
