University Of Montana Dean's List 2024 Students

MISSOULA, Mont. – The University of Montana recognized more than 3,000 undergraduate students for their academic achievements by naming them to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List and President’s 4.0 List. The honors were announced on January 7, 2025, celebrating students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance during the semester.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must be undergraduates, earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher, and receive grades of A or B in at least nine credits. Students who earn a 4.0 GPA are named to the President’s 4.0 List. Those who receive a grade of C+ or lower or no credit (NC/NCR) in any course are ineligible for the distinction.

The university published the lists online, grouping students by hometown or alphabetically by first name. Double asterisks (**) indicate students who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, while a single asterisk (*) denotes a GPA greater than 3.5 but less than 4.0.

The University of Montana Registrar’s Office emphasized that students who signed the Student Request to Restrict Release of Directory Information form are not included in the published lists. Students who believe they should be listed but are not can contact the Registrar’s Office for clarification.

This recognition highlights the academic excellence of UM students and underscores the university’s commitment to celebrating scholarly achievement. The full lists are available on the university’s official website.
