Upcoming Comedy Shows Bring Laughter to D.C. This October

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This October, D.C. residents and visitors can enjoy several comedy shows featuring top acts including John Mulaney, Trevor Noah, and Druski. These performances promise a much-needed break from the heavy news cycle in the nation’s capital.

Chico Bean, a native of D.C. and member of the touring group 85 South Show, is set to perform at DC Improv this month. Known for his role in the comedy game show Wild 'N Out, Bean’s homecoming show offers tickets starting at $50.

Druski, who gained fame for his parody Instagram live show Coulda Been Records, will also take the stage this fall. Fans can expect an expansion of his viral content into a live format, featuring celebrity cameos and humorous interviews, with tickets starting at $44.

Meanwhile, Nikki Glaser, a popular podcaster and actress, will perform three consecutive nights at DAR Constitution Hall as she prepares for her new comedy special on Hulu. Tickets for her shows are priced at $53.

The Because They’re Funny Comedy Festival is another highlight this month, showcasing BIPOC performers. The festival will include multiple events such as conversations, a film screening at Arena Stage, and stand-up acts at The Anthem, featuring celebrities like Sommore, with some free performances available.

Trevor Noah, former host of The Daily Show, is returning to Warner Theatre. Known for his insightful and humorous takes on society, culture, and politics, Noah’s October performance is already sold out, prompting two additional shows scheduled for February 2026 at $75 per ticket.

Iliza Shlesinger, an award-winning comedian, will also perform her special A Different Animal, focusing on relationships and gender dynamics. Tickets for her show are available for $56.

John Mulaney, a Broadway star and former Saturday Night Live writer, is also touring with his Mister Whatever Tour, bringing his signature light-hearted humor to audiences, with tickets starting at $90.
