Viewers Outraged as Whitney Leavitt Gets Eliminated on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
LOS ANGELES, CA — Fans of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ reacted with anger after Whitney Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas were eliminated during Prince Night on November 18. Despite scoring an impressive 58 out of 60 for their Cha-cha-cha and Viennese waltz, the couple did not make it to the finale.
“I already feel like a winner. This show has meant the world to me,” Leavitt said after the results were announced. Her heartfelt departure failed to soothe the discontent of her supporters, many of whom took to social media to voice their frustrations.
One fan expressed thoughts about the show’s integrity, stating, “It’s been so obvious Robert [Irwin] would win. Like beyond obvious this show has been set up for him.” Another viewer questioned the value of continuing to watch, saying, “I’m really not interested to watch the Finale any longer. I mean for what?”
Robert Irwin, the 21-year-old Australian conservationist, has been a fan favorite throughout the season. He is the brother of Bindi Irwin, who won the Mirrorball Trophy in season 21 in 2015.
As the competition heads into the finale, Robert will compete against Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, and Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa.
