Worldwide Sales Launch for WW II Horror Film ‘Dogs of War’

Toronto, Canada – UK sales firm Architect has launched worldwide sales for ‘Dogs of War,’ a creature horror film set during World War II, ahead of next month’s American Film Market (AFM).
‘Dogs of War,’ helmed by writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner, follows a squad of British commandos navigating a Nazi-infested forest in the Eastern Front’s winter. Their mission is to deliver a crucial secret weapon to their allies, but the soldiers soon find themselves facing a much greater threat than the German forces.
In an unexpected twist, the British commandos form an uneasy alliance with their traditional enemy, joining the legendary sniper known as Lady Death. The soldiers quickly realize that survival is their only hope in this dire situation.
The cast of ‘Dogs of War’ includes actors Daniel Webber, Bart Edwards, Robert Maaser, Jake Ryan, CJ Bloomfield, Sam Parsonson, and Masha Basman, who portrays Lady Death. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026 in Australia and Bulgaria.
Producers Blake Northfield and Michelle Krumm at Bronte Studios, along with executive producers Todd Brown and Calum Gray, aim to bring a thrilling narrative that combines historical elements with genre storytelling.
‘With ‘Dogs of War,’ I wanted to explore a different corner of WWII storytelling,’ Roache-Turner said. ‘My fascination with Lady Death, a legendary figure in WWII folklore, has compelled me to create a narrative that resonates with contemporary audiences.’
The film’s visual effects team, led by Model Farm, will create the monstrous elements of the film. The project also maintains a strong connection to its creative roots, as Roache-Turner collaborates with established heads of department from previous projects.
Northfield and Krumm stated, ‘This film is a bold, adrenaline-filled fusion of war story, myth, and survival horror that we believe audiences worldwide will connect with.’
