Yoruba Comedian Aunty Ramota's Coma Rumors Dispelled By Fellow Skitmaker

Popular Yoruba skitmaker, Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, known as Ijoba Lande, has debunked the rumors surrounding fellow female comedian, Ramota Adetu, popularly referred to as Aunty Ramota, falling into a coma following alleged Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

The initial reports, spread by blogger Tosin Silverdam on Instagram, claimed that Aunty Ramota slipped into a coma after a BBL surgery at a hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State, due to complications arising during the procedure.

In response to the viral news, Ijoba Lande took to social media to clarify that the video depicting Aunty Ramota undergoing the BBL surgery was purely for ‘content’ purposes, asserting that she did not actually go into a coma as rumored.

Addressing the situation, Ijoba Lande stated, ‘Nigerians, Aunty Ramota is not in a coma; initially, I thought it was content but when I saw them carrying her in a stretcher, that was when I knew.’ He further mentioned attempting to reach out to those close to Aunty Ramota, including Dare, Ebute Council, and Lara, to confirm the truth behind the incident.

Further revelations by Ijoba Lande disclosed that Aunty Ramota’s mother clarified that the BBL surgery was not real and that Ramota was not in Lagos at the time of the supposed incident, mentioning her location as Ede, contrary to the initial claims.
