After joining BJP, Manish Kashyap expressed his gratitude towards the party for supporting him during his challenging times, mentioning that he credits them for his release from jail and a new phase of his life. He emphasized his commitment to strengthen Bihar, stating that he will work alongside BJP to empower the state.

BJP leader Manoj Tiwari welcomed Manish Kashyap into the party, highlighting his dedication to addressing public concerns. Tiwari noted that Kashyap’s alignment with BJP stems from his desire to work for the welfare of the underprivileged and his association with Prime Minister Modi.

Throughout the day, speculations regarding Manish Kashyap’s political affiliations had been rife, especially after he shared an emotional post with his mother in the morning. The post reflected a sense of joy in seeing his mother happy, alluding to the belief that her happiness is pivotal for everything to fall into place.

Manish Kashyap, a resident of West Champaran, had been gearing up to contest as an independent candidate in the Lok Sabha elections from the region. His decision to join BJP has stirred the political landscape in Bihar, particularly affecting the prospects of the current MP Sanjay Jayaswal.

Hailing from the Mahnawa Dumri village in West Champaran, YouTuber Manish Kashyap belongs to the Bhumihaar community. His journey from being associated with Hindu organizations in his early days to eventually engaging with student bodies has been marked by several controversies, including a reported physical confrontation during his college days.

While in jail, Manish Kashyap attempted a political debut by contesting in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which was eventually nullified. He later ran as an independent candidate in the Chanpatiya Vidhan Sabha area during the 2020 Bihar Vidhan Sabha elections, facing a decisive defeat. Kashyap’s name has been linked to multiple legal cases, adding to his political narrative.

Amidst his ventures, including running a YouTube news channel under the name ‘Sach Tak,’ Kashyap found himself embroiled in a viral fake video controversy related to laborers in Tamil Nadu. This incident led to his incarceration in the Madurai jail, where he currently stands on bail.
