Zachery Ty Bryan Faces Five-Year Restraining Order for Alleged Assaults
LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor Zachery Ty Bryan has been hit with a five-year restraining order following allegations of domestic violence made by his former girlfriend. The order was issued after the victim reported that Bryan punched her in the head during an altercation on July 3.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred after the couple, who dated for three months, were lying down together. The victim playfully bit Bryan’s nipple, which reportedly prompted him to strike her in the right temple.
Days later, the woman contacted police again, expressing fear for her safety. She claimed during a verbal fight, Bryan threatened her life, telling her to “Shut the f*** up or I’m gonna shut you up.” The victim also reported that Bryan seized their dog, locked himself in a room, and violently punched a door, causing it to split from its frame.
In addition to these allegations, the woman stated that Bryan sprayed their dog in the face with bleach a month prior to their altercation. The court has mandated that Bryan maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from the victim until September 29, 2030.
This is not the first time Bryan has faced allegations of violent behavior. In January, he was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for allegedly choking a woman and threatening her. He has also been involved in multiple legal issues over the years, including arrests for domestic violence in 2023 and felony charges in 2021.
Attempts to reach Zachery Ty Bryan for comment were unsuccessful, as he has not yet responded to media inquiries.
