Zoe Saldaña and Family Share Milestone Visit to The Vatican

VATICAN CITY, September 18, 2025 — Actress Zoe Saldaña and her husband, Marco Perego, took their three sons on a memorable trip to The Vatican. The family visited the historic city to give their children a firsthand experience of their cultural heritage.

Along with her twins, Cy and Bowie, 10, and 8-year-old Zen, the family admired world-renowned artwork and enjoyed a stunning sunset. Saldaña expressed her gratitude on social media, saying, “Masterpieces- inside and out.”

In a highlight of their visit, the family met Pope Leone XIV. Saldaña shared a black-and-white photo of the Pope smiling at them, with her and her children dressed in matching black suits. The picture captures both the joy and significance of the moment, as the kids bear a striking resemblance to their mother.

Marco Perego, Saldaña’s Italian-American husband, also joined the meeting, presenting a polished look with his long hair tucked behind his ears. A vibrant color photo shows Saldaña sharing a handshake with the Pope, showcasing a sweet and personal moment.

Saldaña emphasized the importance of instilling cultural knowledge in their children. “When we can do things together, I will do it,” she stated in a previous interview. “It gives us the opportunity to interact with our kids, as opposed to just monitoring their time.”
