Riot Fest Music Festival Chicago 2023

DOUGLASS PARK, ChicagoRiot Fest returns this weekend for its 20th anniversary, featuring headlining acts Blink-182, Weezer, and Green Day. The three-day music festival runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Sunday, at Douglass Park located at 1401 S. Sacramento Drive.

Blink-182 takes the stage on Friday, with Weezer performing Saturday and Green Day closing out the fest on Sunday. Other notable artists include Jack White, Alkaline Trio, and The Beach Boys. Accordion legend Weird “Al” Yankovic will perform Friday on his own stage.

While the festival’s three-day general admission tickets are sold out, one- and two-day passes are still available, starting at $130 for one day and $230 for two days. Tickets can also be found at local Costco stores in Chicago.

The festival welcomes attendees of all ages. Children aged 5 and under can enter for free with an adult who has a ticket. The main entrance and box office are located at West Ogden Avenue and South Sacramento Drive.

Festival organizers encourage guests to use public transportation, recommending the California or Kedzie train stations as convenient exits. Several bus routes, including No. 12 Roosevelt and No. 49 Roosevelt, service the area closely. Parking is expected to be scarce, so attendees are advised to arrive early and consider alternative parking near local venues that offer shuttles.

Heather West, a Riot Fest representative, offered practical tips for attendees, emphasizing the importance of planning ahead for transportation and parking to ensure a smooth festival experience.

More information on the festival schedule, lineup, and ticket options can be found on the Riot Fest website.
