Oregon High School Football Timberwolves Bowmen

Tualatin, Oregon – The undefeated Tualatin Timberwolves are set to battle the Bowmen in a highly anticipated nonleague matchup and local rivalry game on Friday night at the Wolves Den. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on local TV.

The Timberwolves come into the game fresh off an impressive 57-point performance against South Salem, where senior Owen Hagerman and junior Carter Powers split quarterback duties. They aim to extend their perfect record against a Bowmen team still dealing with the aftermath of a tough 49-7 loss to defending champions West Linn.

Junior quarterback Jake Leicht leads the Bowmen, having thrown a touchdown pass to senior Brandon Colli in their last game. The Bowmen are looking to rebound from last year’s 55-35 defeat to the Timberwolves and is eager to improve their season.

As high school football continues to draw excitement in Oregon, fans can look forward to thrilling plays and significant achievements from these local teams. The Timberwolves hope to maintain their momentum, while the Bowmen aim for redemption as they face their rivals.

In other news, a scheduled game between South Eugene and Thurston was canceled this week, as South Eugene could not field enough players. The OSAA confirmed the forfeiture, leading to an 18-game losing streak for South Eugene since last season. Thurston will continue their season by hosting the Class 4A powerhouse Henley instead.

Both teams are dedicated to putting together strong seasons as they navigate the challenges of high school football in Oregon.
