Kevin Hart Takes Aim at T-Mobile in New Verizon Ad

(NEW YORK, N.Y.) – Kevin Hart is back in a humorous role for Verizon‘s latest advertisement, which targets its competitor, T-Mobile. The ad, titled “Don’t Buy the BS,” debuted on September 15, 2025, and features Hart reacting to a T-Mobile commercial.
In the commercial, Hart expresses disbelief at T-Mobile’s claims of being the best wireless provider, stating, “What? T-Mobile’s saying they’re the best by using a bunch of random awards? Not all awards are the same.” He humorously indicates he has his own questionable accolades stored in a trophy case.
Among his trophies is one for being “The best comedian under 5’6″ in a movie inspired by a board game,” as well as an award for “The Least Supportive Actor.” To boost his argument, Hart highlights Verizon’s achievement of receiving J.D. Power‘s award for Best Network Quality for the 35th consecutive time.
Hart questions how T-Mobile can be the best when Verizon has also been recognized for having the fastest 5G network. The commercial aims to encourage consumers to consider their personal experiences when choosing a wireless provider.
The ad comes at a time when the wireless market is highly competitive, with major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all vying for consumers’ attention through various marketing tactics.
Verizon continues to promote its strong performance in network quality, leveraging Hart’s comedic talent to appeal to a wider audience. The ad encourages viewers to take advantage of 30-day trials offered by all major wireless carriers to help determine the best service for their needs.
