Miley Cyrus Malibu Mansion

Los Angeles, California – Miley Cyrus is weeks away from moving back into her Malibu home, nearly seven years after it was destroyed in a devastating wildfire. The singer shared that her rebuilt mansion is almost complete, having taken five years to reconstruct.

In a recent interview with Pamela Anderson for the CR Fashion Book, Cyrus revealed, “I’ve been working on a rebuild. I lost my house in the Woolsey Fire and have been rebuilding now for the last five years. It looks like it’s going to be all ready for me in the next couple of weeks.”

The Woolsey Fire swept through Malibu in November 2018, just weeks before her wedding to Liam Hemsworth. At the time, Cyrus was filming in South Africa when her home was engulfed in flames. She and Hemsworth purchased the house in 2014 and shared it until it was destroyed.

The singer noted that the house was not just a residence but a pivotal space in her career. She recorded her first album outside of the Hannah Montana franchise, “Meet Miley Cyrus,” at the home. Reflecting in a TikTok video from 2023, Cyrus stated, “That house had so much magic to it. It ended up really changing my life.”

Despite the loss, Cyrus has found positivity in her experience. Earlier this year, she called the destruction “the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life.” She remarked, “Losing everything and being able to rebuild… a lot of my relationships also burned down, and that again just led me to such magic.”

As she prepares to move into her newly rebuilt space, Cyrus views it as a fresh start that symbolizes resilience and creativity. “I could sing better after the fire. It was almost like it unleashed something,” she told Joe Rogan in a 2020 interview, highlighting the shift in her artistry following the experience. With her home nearing completion, Cyrus is set to reclaim a significant piece of her past and enter a new chapter of her life.
