Former Bachelor Star Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

Dallas, Texas — Melissa, a 42-year-old former star of The Bachelor, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on September 23 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The arrest was made public on October 2.
Melissa was taken into custody and held in a local jail for eight hours. After her release, she posted a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court. Details about the circumstances of her arrest have not been disclosed by law enforcement.
Known for her time as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Melissa participated in season 13 of The Bachelor, where she became engaged to the show’s lead. In 2010, Melissa married and has three children with her spouse: daughter Ava, born in 2011, and sons Beckett, born in 2014, and Cayson, born in 2016.
The incident has drawn public attention, although no additional comments have been released regarding her current situation.
