Crave Announces Cast for New Comedy Series ‘I Kill The Bear’

Sudbury, Ontario, Canada — Crave has revealed the cast for its upcoming original comedy series, ‘I Kill The Bear.’ Created, written by, and starring Jared Keeso, filming began recently in Sudbury. The six-episode series is set to premiere in 2026.

‘I Kill The Bear’ revolves around a family of bear wranglers who have worked on film sets for a century. They have decided that this will be their last project.

The cast features a diverse lineup, including Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, Adrian Holmes from ’19-2,’ Georges St-Pierre, known for his role in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ Jonathan Torrens of ‘Trailer Park Boys,’ and Kristin Kreuk from ‘Smallville.’ Other notable cast members include Sarah-Maude Beauchesne, Dylan Playfair, Eliana Jones, Frederick Roy, Megha Sandhu, and Scott Thompson.

The series is produced by New Metric Media in collaboration with Play Fun Games. Keeso serves as executive producer alongside Trevor Risk, who co-wrote the story. Directors Dan and Sean Skene are also executive producers on the project.

Max Wolfond is supervising the production for New Metric Media, which will handle international distribution for the series.
