Dallas Cowboys Victory Over New York Jets

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys returned to winning form with a 37-22 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday, marking their first win since Week 2.

The Cowboys showcased a potent offense, accumulating 416 total yards and securing 22 first downs while committing no turnovers. The defense effectively contained Jets quarterback Justin Fields, who finished with 283 passing yards and two touchdowns, largely amassed in garbage time as Dallas led 30-6.

Dak Prescott threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns, while running back Javonte Williams rushed for 135 yards and scored two touchdowns. Tight end Jake Ferguson also shined, logging seven catches and two touchdowns.

However, the final quarter also included a scuffle between Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and Jets receiver Arian Smith. After Smith headbutted Diggs, the Cowboys player retaliated, leading to a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

The NFL has been strict on player behavior, which means Diggs may face disciplinary action following the incident. The league typically announces player fines on Saturdays before game day.

If fined, it would not be Diggs’ first offense; he has faced fines three times previously, including a $16,883 penalty last season for a different incident during a game against the Cleveland Browns.
