Rain Showers Set to Return Next Week in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Residents in Cincinnati will experience warm weather this weekend, but a change is coming as a fall cold front approaches next week.
Temperatures today are expected to reach a comfortable 82 degrees with low humidity and sunny skies. Saturday evening skies are clear, but light winds may bring moisture leading to dense fog overnight.
“If you’re headed out early Saturday morning, be cautious of reduced visibility due to fog,” said a local meteorologist. “Sunny and warm conditions will return as the fog lifts by late morning.”
On Sunday, expect similar weather with highs in the low to mid-80s, making it a great day for outdoor events, including the Bengals game. However, Monday will start to see an increase in cloud cover.
By late Monday evening, a cold front will move in, bringing with it spotty showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall predictions indicate a possibility of a quarter to half-inch of rain by Wednesday morning, with isolated totals potentially reaching an inch.
“We are monitoring the chance for some strong storms on Tuesday,” said the meteorologist. “It could lead to a soggy commute for many.”
Temperatures will drop significantly on Tuesday following the rain, settling into the mid-70s. Clear and cooler conditions are expected to follow, with highs returning to the upper 60s by the middle to end of the week.
For the upcoming workweek, residents should prepare for mostly cloudy skies with chances for scattered showers. The forecast suggests a return to warmer, sunny conditions by next weekend.
