Denver Nuggets Toronto Raptors Game

VANCOUVER, Canada – The Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets are set to face off in the 2025 NBA Canada Series at Rogers Arena on Monday, Oct. 6. The game will tip off at 10 p.m. ET and marks the Raptors’ preseason opener, while the Nuggets look to build on their previous game.

Since its inception in 2012, the NBA Canada Series, presented by Bell, has featured 16 teams and attracted nearly 360,000 fans across multiple cities. This year’s matchup is the seventh time the series has been held in Vancouver, the first being in 2014. The Raptors have a strong history in the series, entering with a record of 12-2, including six consecutive victories.

“It’s always an honor to play basketball in Canada,” said Raptors player Jamal Murray, who has represented Team Canada in international competitions. “The fans in Vancouver are passionate, and we’re excited for the challenge.”

Key players in the game include the Raptors’ All-Star Scottie Barnes and the Nuggets’ three-time MVP Nikola Jokić. The matchup will also showcase emerging Canadian talents, as local players are eager to shine at home. Murray and RJ Barrett highlight the Canadian roster that fans will be eager to cheer for.

This offseason, the Raptors acquired Brandon Ingram from New Orleans, who missed significant time last year due to an injury but is now healthy. Meanwhile, the Nuggets added valuable players like Cam Johnson and Jonas Valančiūnas, hoping these changes will boost their chances for another championship run.

The game will be broadcast live across various platforms, including TSN in Toronto and NBA League Pass. Tickets for the event have been on sale since August and are expected to draw a large crowd.

The excitement around the matchup not only centers on the teams but also on the festival-like atmosphere promised by the series, which is a celebration of basketball culture in Canada.
