Dyson Daniels Agrees to $100 Million Contract Extension with Hawks

Atlanta, Georgia – Dyson Daniels, a standout guard for the Atlanta Hawks, has signed a four-year, $100 million rookie contract extension, according to his agent Daniel Moldovan of Lighthouse Sports Management. The announcement came on Monday, marking a significant milestone for the young player.

The 22-year-old Daniels recently had a remarkable season, averaging 14.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and a league-high 3.0 steals per game. He was honored as the NBA’s Most Improved Player of the Year and finished second in the voting for the Defensive Player of the Year, reinforcing his reputation as one of the league’s top defenders.

After being selected eighth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2022 draft, Daniels struggled in his first two seasons, averaging 4.8 points and 2.5 assists per game.
