Minnesota Star Tribune Mn Rising Launch

Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Star Tribune has launched MN Rising, a new cause marketing platform designed to celebrate organizations positively impacting communities across Minnesota. This platform arrives at a time when many Minnesotans seek uplifting stories reflective of progress and purpose.

Paul Kasbohm, chief revenue officer of the Minnesota Star Tribune, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “We’re excited to launch this new platform for Minnesota businesses to highlight their efforts that make our state a better place to live.” Kasbohm emphasized that MN Rising aims to gather stories of pride and optimism, spotlighting unsung heroes in the business community.

MN Rising will feature stories powered by the Star Tribune’s in-house agency, Foundry North, which is recognized as one of the largest digital agencies in the Upper Midwest. Topics will encompass areas like sustainability, climate action, education, equity, and workforce development, illustrating how various organizations are advancing Minnesota.

Jon Christensen, head of business development and strategy at the Minnesota Star Tribune, remarked, “Consumers are hungry for optimism. MN Rising is a familiar and trusted space where organizations can share their positive impact and be recognized for it.” He noted the importance of third-party storytelling in attracting high-quality content.

The platform also provides organizations a high-visibility digital space to showcase their commitment to improving local communities. Featured organizations include Associated Healthcare Credit Union, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, and the Science Museum of Minnesota, among others.
