The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning, predicting snow accumulation that may exceed 12 inches in some areas, with snowfall rates reaching up to three inches per hour. Dangerous travel conditions have been anticipated due to lake effect snow impacting numerous highways.

As families prepare for the winter weather, local authorities remind citizens to exercise caution and stay updated on closures or changes in school operations through official channels. These delays are part of a broader response to ensure safety in light of potentially life-threatening weather conditions.
