Actor Zachary Levi Endorses Donald Trump for President
Zachary Levi, the actor known for his role in “Shazam!,” publicly endorsed Donald Trump for president during a rally held on Saturday in Michigan. Levi, who had shown support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier this year, made his political stance clear with less than two months remaining until the election.
Addressing the audience, Levi explained his family’s historical political alignment, stating, “I grew up in a family that was Christian conservative… My parents were Kennedy Democrats that then turned into Reagan Republicans.” He emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy level of skepticism towards both government and industry.
During the rally, Levi expressed his initial support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “For a long time, I was like, ‘Man, I really want to find a politician that represents all of the things that I want in a presidential candidate.’ And this year, I found Bobby Kennedy,” Levi recounted. However, with Kennedy Jr. no longer in the race, Levi has shifted his support to Donald Trump.
“We live in a very broken [world], in a country that has been hijacked… And we want to stop that,” Levi stated, declaring his endorsement for Trump, as well as expressing his alignment with other figures such as Tulsi Gabbard. He concluded by asserting that Donald Trump was “the man that can get us there,” crediting him with the potential to restore and improve the state of the nation.
Levi, besides his performances in “Shazam!” and its sequel “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” has also worked as a voice actor in “Tangled” and is set to appear in the upcoming “Harold and the Purple Crayon.” His endorsement highlights the intersection of entertainment and politics, as public figures increasingly impact political discourse.
