The highly anticipated all-new 2025 Toyota 4Runner has been unveiled, setting a new benchmark in off-road capability and advanced technology. Cyril Dimitris, the Vice President at Toyota Canada Inc., expressed enthusiasm for the new model, emphasizing its rugged design and cutting-edge features.

Built on the robust TNGA-F platform shared with other Toyota models like Tacoma and Tundra, the 4Runner boasts a high-strength steel-ladder frame and a sophisticated suspension system for improved ride comfort.

The design team at CALTY in Michigan drew inspiration from Baja desert racing, incorporating iconic elements like the signature quarter glass and roll-down rear window. The interior reflects a blend of modern sophistication and authentic functionality, with a focus on user-friendly controls and versatile seating options.

Under the hood, the 4Runner offers two powerful engine options, including the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain with exceptional horsepower and torque figures. The addition of a Trailhunter grade enhances the off-road capabilities, featuring ARB suspension components and rugged accessories for extreme adventures.

Technology takes center stage in the new 4Runner, with Toyota’s latest multimedia system, wireless connectivity, and driver-assist features. The integration of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ensures top-notch safety for all occupants, with advanced systems like Proactive Driving Assist and Blind Spot Monitor.

Production of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner will take place in Toyota’s Tahara plant in Japan, aligning with the brand’s commitment to sustainability and electrification under the Beyond Zero initiative.
