AC/DC Announces 2025 North American Stadium Tour After Nine-Year Hiatus
Legendary rock band AC/DC has announced their highly anticipated return to the United States with the 2025 Power Up North American Tour, marking their first full-scale tour in the region in nine years. The tour, named after their 2020 album *Power Up*, will kick off on April 10, 2025, at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN, and conclude on May 28, 2025, at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, OH.
The tour will feature performances in 13 stadiums across North America, including iconic venues such as the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on April 18 and Soldier Field in Chicago, IL on May 24. Other notable stops include AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, Ford Field in Detroit, MI, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on December 6th at noon local time. The *Power Up* album, which debuted at No. 1 in 21 countries, has been a significant success, earning Grammy Award nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, and Best Music Video for “Shot In The Dark”.
AC/DC, one of the most influential rock bands in history with over 200 million albums sold worldwide, continues to sell out stadiums globally. Their album *Back In Black* remains the bestselling album by any band and the third bestselling album by any artist, with global sales exceeding 50 million copies. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
The current lineup includes Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bass player Chris Chaney. This tour promises to be a thrilling return for the band, catering to their dedicated and growing fan base across North America.
