Claude Sonnet 4 Ai Models

San Francisco, CA – Anthropic is expected to reveal its newest AI models, Claude Sonnet 4 and Opus 4, at its inaugural developer conference, Code with Claude, taking place today. The company has made significant strides in artificial intelligence and these models are poised to be its most advanced yet.

References to Claude 4, Claude Sonnet 4, and Claude Opus 4 were recently uncovered in Anthropic’s web files, indicating ongoing development. These references included warnings such as ‘Not intended for production use’ and ‘strict rate limits’, suggesting the models are still in research and development.

Features like ‘show_raw_thinking’ hint at a new capability allowing users to delve deeper into the model’s reasoning processes, setting them apart from competitors. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has emphasized that while Claude integrates reasoning as part of its response mechanism, the new models could showcase enhanced reasoning skills.

Previously, in February, Anthropic launched its powerful LLM, which also demonstrated improved reasoning abilities. Each new Claude version, including the 3.7 release earlier this year, has pushed the envelope, and experts anticipate that Claude 4 could mark a significant leap in capabilities.

The Code with Claude event is described as a hands-on gathering, unlike the larger Google I/O. It will feature technical labs, sessions with Anthropic engineers, and discussions on real-world applications of its platforms. Attendees include developers and founders keen on exploring Anthropic’s offerings.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is also gearing up for announcements at its Build conference in Seattle, with CTO Kevin Scott sharing insights about AI collaboration. Scott mentioned a new communication protocol aimed at enabling AI agents from different companies to interact more effectively, a clear indication of the rising importance of AI interoperability in the tech sector.

As the Code with Claude event unfolds today, all eyes will be on Anthropic to see if it will officially unveil Claude 4 and its innovative features.
