Apple’s M4 MacBook Air Price Plummets, Now Just $911 on Amazon

SEATTLE, WA — Apple’s latest M4 MacBook Air has seen a significant price drop, with the base model now available for $911.42 on Amazon. This discount marks nearly $100 off its original retail price of $999 since its launch in March.
The deal became effective on April 24, with the 13-inch midnight black variant leading the price reduction. Other colors also feature slight discounting, with some variants listed at $912. In addition to the base model’s price cut, the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air also received a discount, now priced at $1,117 — a savings of $82 from its $1,199 MSRP.
Both models come equipped with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage. The larger model boasts a higher resolution display and an upgraded audio system with two added speakers, making it a favorable choice for consumers seeking enhanced multimedia functionality.
Apple unveiled the M4 MacBook Air earlier this year, introducing notable features such as support for two external displays and a new 12MP camera with Center Stage capabilities. Following testing, Mashable‘s Stan Schroeder praised the device as ‘impressively powerful’ and lauded its overall performance.
Amazon’s pricing suggests a competitive race among retailers, as B&H Photo was reported to have a similar model at $912. However, both entries on Amazon currently provide the lowest prices available for these configurations. For budget-conscious shoppers, snagging the base model via Amazon locks in significant savings.
While Apple maintains a direct offering through its Store, the reductions available from retailers like Amazon and B&H surpass in-store deals, demonstrating the effectiveness of online pricing strategies in today’s retail environment.
