NEW YORK, April 9, 2025 — Argentinian music duo CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso made their U.S. television debut on NBC‘s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 8, performing their hit single “El Día del Amigo” from their latest EP, Papota. This performance comes just days before they are set to appear at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California.

Host Jimmy Fallon welcomed the artists enthusiastically, emphasizing their debut on American television. “Let’s give a warm welcome to CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso! They are debuting on U.S. television with their track ‘El Día del Amigo’ from their new EP,” he announced to the audience.

The duo, known for their eclectic style that blends funk, trap, and hip-hop with cheeky humor, performed in elaborate costumes reminiscent of 1990s gym culture, heightening the theatricality of their act. Their performance was both visually captivating and musically engaging, featuring a complete band setup with drums, guitars, synthesizers, and background vocals.

This appearance on The Tonight Show places CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso among an elite group of Argentine artists including Nicki Nicole, Bizarrap, and Nathy Peluso, who have previously graced the same stage.

The duo’s rise to fame has been meteoric, thanks in part to their breakthrough performance at NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, which has garnered over 30 million views on YouTube. Their conceptual album Papota, which features nods to pop culture and collaborations with prominent artists like Lali Espósito and Tini Stoessel, showcases their unique artistic vision.

Looking ahead, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso plan to kick off a busy tour in the United States, with sold-out shows scheduled in cities such as Philadelphia, New York, Miami, Washington, and Dallas. They are also set to make their European debut at the renowned Glastonbury Festival in England, and later perform at Fuji Rock in Japan in July.

In an Instagram post just before their Fallon appearance, the duo wrote, “See you tomorrow, bro,” demonstrating their approachable persona and connection with fans. Their first shows at Coachella will take place on April 11 and 18, and together they mark the start of an ambitious international tour.

Their vivid performance on The Tonight Show reflects their artistic philosophy of defying norms and pushing boundaries, with each show serving as a testament to their growing influence in the global music scene.
