Chapel Hill, North Carolina — The North Carolina Tar Heels conquered the Richmond Spiders 41-6 on Saturday, marking their first home win of the season. Head coach Bill Belichick celebrated the victory alongside his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who shone brightly on the sidelines.

This win was particularly significant for Belichick, 73, who suffered a crushing loss in his debut as UNC’s football coach against TCU just weeks prior. The team is now 2-1 for the season. “Offensively, we made a couple big plays, scored some points,” Belichick said. “Defensively, the goal line stand was a big, big, big series for us, and we scored on defense. It was an overall good effort, but there are certainly things we can do better.”

Hudson, 24, has been a consistent supporter of Belichick since his transition from the NFL, where he famously led the New England Patriots for 24 years, winning six Super Bowls. As a former college cheerleader, Hudson has embraced her role as de facto publicist for Belichick, despite not holding any official position with the UNC program.

Her appearance at the game did not go unnoticed, as she captivated fans with her stylish outfit, a black hooded sweatshirt paired with a “Blind For Love” sweater. Hudson was also seen engaging with fans and holding a clear purse filled with legal documents related to trademark applications for Belichick’s TCE Rights Management LLC.

Belichick is navigating trademark challenges, with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office recently refusing several applications due to similarities with previously registered trademarks by the Patriots. Despite these setbacks, both he and Hudson remain hopeful about their new endeavors in college football.

The Tar Heels will look to build on their success as they prepare for their next game against the UCF Knights. This is a promising chapter for Belichick and Hudson in Chapel Hill.
