LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Brittany Snow expressed her excitement after seeing Aubrey Plaza appear in a recent “SNL” skit about her show, “The Hunting Wives.” During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Snow shared her thoughts on the skit, particularly praising Chloe Fineman’s impression of her.

“I was just in shock,” Snow said. “I’m so grateful and just like overwhelmed and Chloe Fineman did an amazing job encapsulating me and getting my voice right. I was like ‘s’t I do sound like that. Sorry I cursed, but I do.”

Snow revealed that she and her team had always hoped Plaza would join the cast for Season 2. “We always had a pie-in-the-sky idea that maybe Aubrey Plaza would be a part of the show. So seeing her in the skit was very strange. So we’re hoping one day,” she said.

The skit, which featured Poehler as the host, included Fineman, Sarah Sherman, and Ashley Padilla. It humorously highlighted the show’s mix of murder mystery and steamy romance. The voice-over stated, “Millions of Americans tuned in for season 1 of The Hunting Wives, the straight-but-lesbian, horny, Republican, murder drama.”

Plaza’s character made a quick entrance as a newcomer to the group, and the skit involved making mimosas and drawing guns. “Thighs will be squeezed. Guns will be drawn,” the voice-over added.

Other cast members from “The Hunting Wives,” including Malin Ackerman, Katie Lowes, and Jamie Ray Newman, also enjoyed the skit. Lowes shared their reaction on social media, writing, “‘HUNTING WIVES’ ON ‘SNL’! We were DYING.”
