Australian rock legends, Cold Chisel, are set to embark on a grand 50th Anniversary tour that will take them through a series of electrifying performances across the continent. The tour, aptly named The Big Five-O, will see the band revisiting their iconic hits such as ‘Flame Trees‘ and ‘Choirgirl’, captivating audiences with their timeless music.

The journey will commence on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the nostalgic setting of Armidale, where Cold Chisel laid their early roots back in 1974. This significant milestone marks a celebration of the band’s enduring legacy and continued resonance with fans from various generations.

Lead singer, Jimmy Barnes, expressed his excitement, stating, “Cold Chisel are never apart. We’re as close as brothers. Some of the best moments of my life have been spent on stage with those boys, and I hope we keep going until the day we drop.”

Having received numerous accolades over the years, including the prestigious ARIA Hall Of Fame induction, an APRA Award for ‘Australia’s Most Performed Rock Work’, and even having a street named after them in Adelaide, Cold Chisel has solidified their position as Australian music icons.

Cold Chisel fans, old and new, will have the rare opportunity to witness the band in action during The Big Five-O tour, as they belt out beloved classics and connect with audiences in a memorable musical experience. Limited tickets will be available for purchase starting from May 31 for mailing list members and June 4 for the general public.
