Country Singer Chris Young Arrested For Disorderly Conduct And Assault On Officer

Country singer Chris Young, known for his hit songs like ‘Getting You Home’ and ‘I’m Comin’ Over’, was arrested on Monday night after an altercation with officers from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission at a bar in Midtown Nashville.

The incident occurred during a compliance check at Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street. Young was sitting at the bar when the agents approached him to check his identification. After verifying his identity, the agents moved on to the next bar, Dawg House.

Young and his group followed the agents to Dawg House and began interacting with the patrons and bartender. At one point, Young allegedly stopped the officers from leaving and assaulted one of them on the shoulder. The situation escalated quickly, leading to Young’s arrest.

Young, whose eyes were bloodshot and watery, and who had slurred speech, was charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest. He has since been released from custody.

This incident comes at a crucial time in Young’s career as he is preparing to release his highly anticipated album ‘Young Love & Saturday Nights’ next month. The album follows his recent success with two collaborative No.1 singles and multiple nominations at award shows.

Young’s fans expressed surprise and disbelief at the news of his arrest. Just a few days before the incident, he delighted fans with an impromptu acoustic set at a popular bar in downtown Nashville.
