The results for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 have finally been released, and students can now check their scores. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results on July 28, and you can find your scorecard on their official site, exams.nta.ac.in.

This year, an impressive 22,290 candidates scored full marks in various subjects. The examination saw about 11,13,610 students showing up out of a total of 13,47,820 who registered. It’s good news for many as the competition was tough!

The CUET UG exam was held in a hybrid format, combining traditional pen-and-paper tests with computer-based assessments. It took place over multiple days, from May 15 to May 29, with some candidates needing to take a re-test on July 19 due to various issues.

In case you’re wondering about the subjects where students excelled the most, Business Studies topped the list with 8,024 candidates scoring full marks. Following closely were Political Science and History, with 5,141 and 2,520 students, respectively, hitting the perfect score.

For those eager to check their results, it’s quite simple. You just need to visit the NTA’s website, enter your application number and date of birth, and you’ll get your scorecard. Remember, though, there will be no centralized counselling this year. Candidates will need to apply separately to different universities based on the cutoff marks each institution sets.

With the CUET UG results out, the admission process for various universities is expected to kick off soon. It’s also important to note that dealing with this year’s later announcement of results may require universities to adjust their academic calendars.

Interestingly, the NTA has shared detailed statistics about the candidates. There were 2,34,210 candidates who didn’t show up for the exam this year, and the breakdown by category shows the largest number of participants came from Uttar Pradesh, while Lakshadweep had the fewest.
