Epstein’s Emails Reveal Harsh Criticism of Trump During Presidency
Washington, D.C. — Emails released by Congress show that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein harshly criticized President Donald Trump during his first term. Epstein described Trump as ‘f**king crazy,’ ‘dangerous,’ and claimed there was ‘not one decent cell in his body.’
The emails emerged amid ongoing investigations into Epstein’s connections with various political figures. According to sources, Trump has been advised by some allies to reassess his strategy regarding the Justice Department’s handling of Epstein-related matters.
The House Oversight Committee has stated that the documents highlight troubling interactions between Epstein and politicians. Notably, Rep. Stacey Plaskett, a Democrat from the U.S. Virgin Islands, received text messages from Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing with Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney.
Plaskett’s spokesperson confirmed that the texts were sent while Epstein was present in the hearing room. The spokesperson noted that these messages may have impacted Plaskett’s questioning and her commitment to seeking the truth about Epstein’s actions.
As a non-voting delegate representing a U.S. territory, Plaskett has previously spoken out against sexual assault and human trafficking. She has expressed her disgust with Epstein’s behavior and her support for the victims of these crimes.
Epstein owned Little St. James and Great St. James in the Virgin Islands, properties linked to his criminal activities. The House Oversight Committee continues to review all relevant files related to Epstein’s case.
