Desperate Search Continues for Missing Individuals in Nelson Mandela Bay Floods

Emergency services in Nelson Mandela Bay, Eastern Cape, remain on high alert as the search intensifies for individuals who went missing during the devastating floods that struck the Kariega region overnight.

The National Sea Rescue Institute has sadly confirmed two fatalities resulting from the floods, while four individuals are still unaccounted for in Kariega.

Assistance is being provided to flood victims in the area by the renowned humanitarian organization, Gift of the Givers.

During an interview with eNCA, spokesperson Ali Sablay provided insights into the ongoing relief efforts and the challenges faced in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
