MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Tom Berg, the owner and Chief Brewing Officer of Falling Knife Brewing Company, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend at his home, according to a statement from the brewery.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, the brewery expressed its grief, stating, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share some awful and unexpected news. Over the weekend, our friend, Chief Brewing Officer, and owner Tom Berg passed away in his home. We are devastated to lose our dear friend, the visionary architect of what Falling Knife brews, and a guiding force in what we are and do.”
