Florida Lottery Tickets Net Big Wins for Local Players

PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida — A Florida driver is celebrating after winning nearly $30,000 from a Fantasy 5 lottery ticket purchased at a Shell gas station. The ticket matched all five numbers in the Midday drawing held on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025.

In addition to this win, a ticket bought by a mystery shopper at a Publix in Broward County also won big during the same drawing. Meanwhile, a Baby Supermarket ticket in Miami Gardens won almost $122,000 during the Evening drawing that night.

The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 Midday drawing were 17, 20, 22, 30, and 33, while the Evening drawing numbers were 8, 21, 26, 31, and 36.

Florida Lottery officials remind winners that they have 180 days to claim their prizes, with a requirement to claim a cash option within the first 60 days. This applies to all lottery games, including the Mega Millions and Powerball.

According to Florida law, the Florida Lottery must disclose the names and other details of the winners to the public, although winners of $250,000 or more have a temporary 90-day exemption from public disclosure.

Lottery experts suggest that there may be ways to maintain privacy even after winning.
