LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12, 2025 – Hazelight Studios has announced the release of its highly anticipated co-op adventure game, Split Fiction, set to launch on March 6, 2025. The game features two main characters, Mio and Zoe, who are contrasting writers caught in a literary labyrinth of their own creation.

Building on the success of their previous title, It Takes Two, which won Game of the Year in 2021, Split Fiction combines elements of sci-fi and fantasy. Players will navigate through immersive worlds that require teamwork and creative problem-solving to progress.

Split Fiction invites players into a split-screen experience where they utilize the distinct abilities of both characters. Mio, a science fiction writer, brings futuristic gadgets into play, while Zoe, focused on fantasy, wields magical powers. This partnership creates a unique gameplay dynamic, emphasizing the need for coordination and communication between players.

The game world is diverse, transitioning smoothly between sci-fi cityscapes filled with advanced technology and magical forests inhabited by mystical creatures.
