Street racer Lizzy Musi, known for her appearances on the popular show Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings, has tragically passed away after a valiant battle with stage-four breast cancer. The news was confirmed by her father, doorslammer legend Pat Musi, revealing that Lizzy peacefully passed away at her home in Mooresville, North Carolina, surrounded by her family.

Lizzy Musi made a name for herself in the racing world by scoring three consecutive victories in the 2019 season of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings. She also achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first woman to break the 200 mph barrier in eighth-mile doorslammer racing with a remarkable 3.802-second run. Additionally, she created history in July 2014 by clinching victory at the Pro Nitrous national event at the Professional Drag Racers Association US Drags.

Throughout her battle with cancer, Lizzy Musi remained an inspiration to women and girls, showcasing resilience and positivity despite facing the aggressive stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes and liver. Despite the challenges, she continued to maintain a hopeful outlook and even sought treatment in Germany, where she received promising news.

Earlier this year, Lizzy publicly praised her boyfriend Jeffrey Earnhardt, the grandson of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, for his unwavering support during her health struggles. The couple’s relationship blossomed in late 2023, following Lizzy’s split with racer Kyle Kelley, and their bond was cherished by fans and followers.

The racing community is mourning the loss of another talent, as just two months ago, fellow Street Outlaws star Nathan Schaldach, known as Cali Nate, tragically passed away following a car crash in southwest Texas. The shocking loss of both Lizzy Musi and Nate has deeply impacted their colleagues and fans, highlighting the risks involved in the sport.
