Influencer’s Toddler Drowns in Backyard Pool Amid Ongoing Investigation

Chandler, Arizona – New details have emerged regarding the drowning death of 3-year-old Trigg Kiser, son of social media influencer Emilie Kiser. The child was found unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool on May 12 and died on May 18, authorities confirmed.
According to search warrant applications obtained by local news outlets, Trigg’s father, Brady Kiser, was at home with Trigg and their infant son, Theodore, while Emilie was out with friends. Brady told police that after Trigg finished eating, he went outside to play. He lost sight of Trigg for three to five minutes while tending to the newborn.
Brady claimed he discovered Trigg floating in the pool and immediately jumped in to rescue him, calling 911 afterward. The police report noted that the pool normally had a protective cover, which was not in place that day.
The Chandler Police Department stated, “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.” The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have sought video footage from two outdoor cameras in the backyard to support Brady’s account.
In a recent court filing, Emilie Kiser requested to keep records related to her son’s death private, including the 911 call and any incident photographs. Her attorneys argued the materials are “exceptionally raw and graphic,” and their release would violate the family’s dignity. A judge has temporarily blocked the release of these records while the case is reviewed.
Sources close to the family emphasized that Emilie is not trying to withhold information but is instead focused on protecting her family’s privacy during this difficult time. She has not posted on social media since the incident, and comments on her platforms have been disabled. Brady has also made his Instagram account private.
An interim hearing on the matter was held on June 3, during which the court allowed for the possibility of releasing redacted documents in the future.
