Jimmy Kimmel Live Brooklyn September 2025

Brooklyn, NY — Comedian Jimmy Kimmel is set to return to Brooklyn for a week of live shows on his ABC program, Jimmy Kimmel Live! The special series will take place from September 29 through October 3 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House.

This will mark Kimmel’s seventh visit to New York for these special broadcasts. He will host a live studio audience, featuring notable guests that include his fellow late-night host Stephen Colbert.

During a recent taping, Kimmel shared that the cancelation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was a frequent topic of discussion among viewers during his summer break. ‘CBS suddenly claimed that The Late Show was losing $40 million a year and then quickly received FCC approval to sell the company,’ Kimmel stated. ‘People were concerned about the future of late-night television.’

Kimmel also referenced comments made by former President Donald Trump, who took aim at late-night hosts, including himself and Fallon, suggesting their shows were not safe from cancellation. Kimmel joked about Trump’s sensitivity to comedic criticism: ‘Did we hurt your feelings? I thought you were against cancel culture. When did you become so woke?’

As Kimmel prepares for his return to Brooklyn, excitement builds for a week filled with celebrity guests and lively discussions. Stay tuned for this week-long event that highlights Kimmel’s connection to New York City.
