WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – SEA LIFE Florida, part of Legoland Florida Resort, has welcomed its first finned residents as it prepares for its grand opening on June 6, 2025.

The new aquarium is now home to a variety of marine life, including blacktip reef sharks, clownfish, cownose stingrays, and unicorn tangs. The exhibits aim to create an immersive environment filled with vibrant fish and engaging invertebrates, making the attraction a highlight for visitors.

“This moment marks the shift from construction site to conservation site,” said Sarah McMahon, curator at SEA LIFE Florida, in a news release. “Every fish, ray, and shark that arrives is a chance to spark curiosity and inspire care for our planet.”

Guests can anticipate over 25 interactive exhibits, including a stingray bay and hands-on rockpools. The aquarium has been designed with accessibility in mind, aiming to earn recognition as a Certified Autism Center.

One of the unique features includes the world’s first “Theme Park Under the Sea” experience, where visitors can walk through a 30-foot-long underwater tunnel to see marine animals interacting with innovative elements such as coral carousels and deep-sea roller coasters.

More species are scheduled to arrive each week leading up to the grand opening. Annual passholders will receive exclusive early access starting May 23.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy a Summer Resort Play Pass, allowing unlimited admission to both LEGOLAND Florida Resort and SEA LIFE Florida until September 12.
