Microsoft-owned professional networking platform LinkedIn has restored its services following a temporary outage that affected a significant number of users. At its peak, over 48,000 outage reports related to LinkedIn were recorded in the United States, as shown on the outage tracking site Downdetector.com.
On Wednesday, LinkedIn acknowledged the issues faced by some users and stated that they were actively investigating the root cause of the disruption. This incident occurred shortly after Meta-owned platforms, Facebook and Instagram, experienced a widespread outage lasting over two hours due to a technical glitch, impacting numerous users globally.
